My memoir essay, From Kanty, was featured alongside works from notable Milwaukee writers in Belt Publishing’s The Milwaukee Anthology (2019). I was proud to share the colorful characters and profound early life experiences I had in my Polish immigrant family’s neighborhood church. It captures who I am and how that unique period of time in the city’s history shaped my sense of humor, perspectives and character.
